The controller is the operator identified below. Contact hello@geowl.app about your data, including requests for access or deletion. Operator details must be completed before publication.
Website data
The hosting server may process your IP address, request time, page address and browser information in technical logs to deliver and protect the service and diagnose problems. The intended basis is the controller’s legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting providers and retention periods must be confirmed. This site contains no advertising or analytics tools. Quiz answers stay in page memory; the appearance preference is stored on your device.
Messages
The form includes a category, subject, message and optional reply email. When it only prepares a draft or file, we receive nothing until you send it. If direct delivery is enabled, the operator and delivery provider receive the message. We use it to respond, resolve bugs and improve the service, based on legitimate interest, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests relating to a contract. Providing data is optional; without a reply address we cannot respond.
App data
The app stores settings, answer history and progress on your device. When gameplay data sharing is enabled, it may send Supabase a pseudonymous account ID, device ID, app version, sessions, answers and progress events. Pseudonymous data is not necessarily anonymous. The gameplay data setting controls further uploads; disabling it does not delete past uploads. Contact the operator with the account ID shown in the app to request deletion. Processing bases, diagnostics and the exact data scope must be confirmed before publication. Email login, cross-device sync and payments are planned features.
Providers and retention
Before publication, the operator must identify hosting, messaging and app infrastructure providers, processing locations, any transfers outside the EEA and their safeguards, and retention periods for logs, messages and gameplay data. These details are not yet confirmed in this draft.
Your rights
Depending on the processing basis and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where consent applies, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your competent data protection authority, including Poland’s President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Form data is not used for advertising profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.
Changes
Accounts, payments or new data tools will require an updated policy. Material changes will be announced before the relevant features are introduced.
